Press Release for the 2011 Mustang GT

Ford has just officially announced the press release of the 2011 Ford Mustang GT. This is exciting news for all Mustang fans all over the world. Why you might ask? Because the 5.0 liter V8 will be returning for 2011. It will be an all aluminum engine making 412 horsepower and 390 torque. To achieve the increase of horsepower Ford used 32-valves and Twin Independent Variable Camshaft Timing (Ti-VCT). The 5.0 will be able to get 25mph on the highway, not bad for a 400 horsepower V8 engine. Other features on the 2011 Mustang GT are new six-speed automatic and manual transmissions, specially tuned Electric Power Assist Steering (EPAS), 11.5-inch front and 11.8-inch rear vented disc brakes, three new colors (Yellow Blaze Tri-Coat, Race Red and Ingot Silver) and a Brembo brake package upgrade that includes 14-inch vented front discs from the GT500, 19-inch alloy wheels and summer performance tires. Can’t wait to see this baby out on the street!
