Polish your Mustang Wheels with Autosol

December 23, 2009 by Justin

If you have a nice set of forged aluminum wheels from lets say CCW or HRE, you might want to try using the metal polish Autosol. It really is the best polish out there for bare aluminum wheels. It removes any kind of oxidizing, rust, or grime from the road. It will also leave an impeccable shine right on the rim. Plus it also leaves a nice coat so when stuff gets on the wheel afterwards, you should be able to wipe it away with just a rag. I’ve been using the polish for many years now and it hasn’t let me down. But, make sure your rims aren’t clear coated and they aren’t chrome plated. This stuff can tear up chrome and it won’t make a difference if you put it on a clear coat finish, since you’re not touching the metal. How I use it is after I’m done washing my car, I squeeze a little polish out on a rag microfiber, then start rubbing it across the entire wheel. After you’re done rubbing it in, you should then go across it with a clean microfiber towel. You’re wheels should be left with a nice mirror finish. Something like the Mustang wheels pictures I posted down below. This just shows you how good shiny wheels can look on a Mustang, you’d don’t even need chrome to look good.
