New Colors for the 2011 Ford Mustang
January 12, 2010 by Justin
Ford Motor Company has just publicized that they will have three new colors for the 2011 Ford Mustang. This includes yellow blaze tri-coat, race red, and ingot silver. These colors sound pretty exciting, I wonder how yellow blaze tri-coat will look on the new Mustang. I never liked the other yellows on the previous Mustangs, they kind of reminded me of the yellow from a mustard bottle. They were always dull and didn’t shine like a yellow should. Maybe now this new yellow color will help the Mustang shine! I wish I had a picture of what the yellow blaze tri-coat Mustang would look like, for now I’m just going to post a cool picture of a black Mustang.
Forza 3 Video Game: Fox Body Mustang
January 12, 2010 by Justin
So has anyone been playing Forza 3 lately? It’s a good video game to hold you over until spring time. I’ve been so bored lately, not really much to do. So I flip on my Xbox 360 and take my Cobra Fox Body Mustang for a spin on Forza 3. There’s many other Ford Mustangs available on the video game, but I chose the fox body because this is a very unique car to see on the game. You can also take pictures of your custom Mustang then download them off of the Forza website. It’s definitely the best racing game out for the Xbox 360.
Check out these stills down below of the Cobra Mustang, it almost looks real!
Chrome Deep Dish Cobra Wheels
January 12, 2010 by Justin
Now available on the 03-04 Cobra wheel is a deep dish feature. The dish part or whatever you would call it, measures in at 2.5″ deep. This can really give your rim and incredible shine. It’s the new look for Mustangs and muscle cars, it also gives an allusion that your back wheels and tires are wider. This symbolizes a true muscle car. You can purchase these deep dish wheels on our Mustang Parts store by using our search box or by visiting American Muscle store.
Yet another Cool Fox Body Mustang Wheelie
January 12, 2010 by Justin
Here we go again, how about another Fox Body Mustang wheelie video, except this one is in better quality. I know I’ve seen this one somewhere, wait, I know! This is the Mustang video that you’ve seen in avatars on Mustang forums. Remember the phrase “got torque.” I’ll see if I can find the avatar when I get a chance. I did a quick search on Google and found it, right click save as with your mouse if you want to use it on forums. It’s a pretty cool avatar! Just make sure you check out the Mustang video, it’s even better!
Fox Body Mustang Wheelie
January 12, 2010 by Justin
It doesn’t get better than this folks, a sweet Fox Body Mustang doing a big wheelie. The Fox Body Mustang has so much horsepower he ends up holding the wheelie for a few seconds. It truly is incredible, I don’t know how race car drivers can see and control their car. So for such bad quality, would of been nice to see the Mustang video in a better quality. Oh well, it’s still a sweet Mustang video!
Happy Birthday Carroll Shelby!
January 12, 2010 by Justin
I woke up kind of lake so I didn’t get time to post this is on the official date. Guess who’s birthday it was yesterday? It was Mustang God Carroll Shelby. Yesterday he celebrated his 87th birthday, he’s definitely lived his life like a rock star. Shelby’s racing career lasted from 1952-1960. During that time, he raced for some of the most famous teams of the era, including Cad-Allard, Aston Martin, and Maserati. Nothings changed much after he retired as a race car driver. Mr. Shelby developed his own performance company and still gets out every now to burn up the tires. He’s definitely lived a successful life, congratulations Carroll Shelby for being such an inspirational car guy!
1968 Ford Shelby Mustang GT500KR
January 11, 2010 by Justin
When’s the last time you seen a video of a 1968 GT500KR Mustang? In fact I’ve never seen any video footage of this muscle car. I found this Mustang video while doing a search on YouTube, this video is so ancient. It’s great to see what a road test was like back in the 60s. You can tell how spongey the shocks were back then on muscle cars, must of been pretty horrible to race in. But, I guess for the time the 1968 GT500KR had a great suspension.
My Favorite Ford Mustang Picture

There’s not too much I can say about this Mustang picture, it’s pretty self explanatory. This is one nice piece!

Shelby to Revive the GT350 Mustang?
January 11, 2010 by Justin
In a recent report from auto website LeftLaneNews.com, Shelby American is planning to revive the GT350 Mustang in honor of the original model’s 45th anniversary. The new GT350 will be using the 2011 Mustang GT as the base and under the hood will be a modified 5.0L power plant. The horsepower will probably be between the Mustang GT and Shelby GT500. So maybe like 450 horsepower or so. I hope it will be a sweet looking Mustang.
