Ford Mustang Police Cars

January 13, 2010 by Justin

The owner of this Mustang video claims these are both Ford Mustang police cars, but I think otherwise. I don’t see any markings on the Mustangs and the one license plate doesn’t have an X in the middle. Most police driven cars have an X in the middle of their license plate. Either way, I thought these Mustangs looked great with the Police lights flashing. I wonder if this is illegal to have these blue and red flashing lights on your Mustang? There might be some law that states it’s legal to have them if you are parked.

Old 1968 TransAm Ford Mustang

January 13, 2010 by Justin

This is video footage of an old classic 1968 Ford Mustang used in the Trans Am racing series. Originally known as the Trans-American Sedan Championship, it was developed by the Sports Car Club of American for modified racing sedans to its current form as a drivers championship open to GT style cars. Just listen this Mustang after the owner starts it up. This Mustang is ready to race!

Aftermath of a 1966 Mustang on Fire

January 13, 2010 by Justin

This is aftermath of a 1966 Ford Mustang catching on fire, the poor thing. You could tell from the rear and little bit from the side, this was a nice classic Mustang. The member of YouTube doesn’t say much of what happened, he states “after picking up a 1966 Mustang for my Father in law, something went wrong.” Um yeah, something seriously when wrong! Your classic Mustang is totaled man, what a bummer!

How about some Mustang drag racing carnage, this will really uplift your spirits for the winter. I posted some really old clips of Fox Body Mustang and then some new clips on the 2010 Ford Mustang. These Mustang videos are really fun to watch when you’re bored, just head over to YouTube and do your own searching. I just love the Mustangs with nitrous!

American Muscle January Sale on Mustang Parts

January 13, 2010 by Justin

American Muscle store is having January sale on their Mustang parts. This January sale allows you to save up to 27% on Mustang parts. One particular part I was looking into buying was the sequential taillight kit for my 2003-04 Cobra Mustang. I thought this would be a cool mod for my Mustang. It’s an easy quick install for me, you know something I can do since I’m not a qualified automotive technician. But I think I’m going to have to wait for my taxes to get back.

Video of the 2011 Mustang GT at the Auto Show

January 13, 2010 by Justin

Now this is a sweet treat, how about a sneak peak of the 2011 Ford Mustang GT at the North American International Auto Show. This will be the 2011 Mustangs first debut to the public, sporting the new 5.0L engine making 412 horsepower. Thanks goes out to Kelley Blue Book for making this cool Mustang video, they touch base with a Yellow Blaze Tri-Coat Mustang GT coupe. This is the new color I was talking about in a previous post. It’s not quite the yellow I was expecting, but I have to say it’s quite unique and cool. Kind of makes me think of Werther’s Original hard caramel. I would really like to see this baby out on a sunny day, bet it would look sweet!

2011 California Special Mustang at the Auto Show

January 13, 2010 by Justin

Another Mustang that got just as much exposure as Nelly’s DUB edition Mustang was the 2011 California Special Mustang GT. This is the first appearance of the Mustang GT/CS , we’re not sure on the specs of this Mustang package, but we do know it has a new grille and pony badge from the picture down below. Another change is the new lower rear fascia with a diffuser similar to the Shelby GT500. It will be great to see this cool Mustang out on the road, rather than seeing it at the auto show this year.

Rapper Nelly’s DUB Edition 2011 Ford Mustang

January 13, 2010 by Justin

Tried to beat other Mustang bloggers to this topic, but I noticed I failed miserably. Just saw this post on The Mustang News.com. I was watching Fox 2 morning news over here in Michigan, they talked about the auto show and rapper Nelly’s DUB edition 2011 Mustang. The custom Mustang will make it’s debut alongside the Grammy Award-winning artist as part of his upcoming album’s artwork. Coming right from Nelly, “I’m itching to get behind the wheel of my Mustang and really take it out on the streets. This vehicle being a part of my album artwork is just a reflection of the direction and feel that the album has. To be able to partner with Ford again on another vehicle that is going to change the automotive game is exciting.” I feel you Nelly, it’s great to see celebrities such as yourself helping out the Ford Motor Company in these tough times. Nelly’s appearance was one of the most attended of the second media day of the auto show, with photographers, reporters and fans alike crowding around the Mustang display and clambering for soundbites and photos after the event.

2011 Ford Mustang Dashboard

January 12, 2010 by Justin

I was kind of amazed to see what the 2011 Ford Mustang dashboard looks like. The colors from the speedometers look almost psychedelic. I just hope no one falls in a trance while driving their 2011 Ford Mustang, j/k. I’m not sure if these colors are new, I never drove a 2009 or 2010 Mustang so this picture of the dashboard is kind of new to me. Overall I do like the look of the dashboard, keep of the good work Ford!
