Sorry for being down the last few hours, for some reason the site crapped out on us. We’re back up running perfectly! Next few hours I’m going to be posting some good Mustang news so stay tuned.

45th Anniversary Celebration of the the Shelby GT 350 Mustang

January 15, 2010 by Justin

To celebrate the 45th anniversary of the 427 Cobra and the Shelby GT350, Shelby American is sponsoring the opening night gala for the 39th annual Barrett-Jackson collector car auction in Scottsdale, Arizona. The sad thing is the opening night gala is invitation only and will have attendance of some of the highest class people in the automotive world today. The gala will be broadcasted live on TeamShelby.com. I expect it to be a fun Mustang event to watch!

Hot Mustang Girls

January 14, 2010 by Justin

How about a nice video of hot sexy Mustang girls to heat things up for the winter. This a compilation of pictures from all over the internet, these girls are just gorgeous. Nothing better than a hot chick next to a hot Mustang. I can’t take my eyes of both of them, but least of all the Mustangs.

Ford Mustang Wallpaper

January 14, 2010 by Justin

Today I thought it would be a cool idea to post my own collection of Mustang wallpaper pictures for you guys. These Mustang wallpapers will brighten up your desktop with a new look. They are in a large high definition resolution of 1280×800, you’ll just love the clarity. All you have to do is hover over the Mustang image and click the right button of your mouse and then go under “set as desktop background.” I know most of you Mustang guys and gals already know how to do this, but I thought I’d post directions for the not so tech-savvy Mustang enthusiasts out there.

Evolution Performance Twin Turbo Shelby GT500 Mustang

January 14, 2010 by Justin

Now this is one powerful Mustang, Evolution Performance put together this twin turbo super Shelby GT500 project car. The goal of Evolution Performance was to have the first S197 Mustang in the 7s. The Shelby GT500 mods include an all Aluminum motor with CNC machined heads, custom turbo cams, two Precision double ball bearing turbos and a host of custom parts. The chassis is 25.5 SFI certified and will run 32.0/16.0-15 Mickey Thompson ET drags in the rear for track use. The output of this car was over 1000 horsepower. The GT500 made its official debut at the NMRA Bradenton, FL. I wonder if the Mustang ever reached its goal.

Yellow Saleen Ford Mustang

January 14, 2010 by Justin

Now this is what I call a sweet canary yellow Mustang! Most cars have a mustard looking yellow, not this Saleen, it looks sick. The custom chrome wheels go along with the yellow paint job too. It would be nice to have this baby tucked away in my garage. I don’t get to see too many yellow Mustangs in my area.

Hideous looking Fox Body Mustang

January 14, 2010 by Justin

I’m not much of a fan for the 1981 Fox Body Mustang, after checking this Mustang paint job out, it makes my stomach turn. But, maybe with some black paint, chrome staggered wheels, and nice sounding catback exhaust this could make for one great looking Mustang.

Mean Picture of a 2010 Shelby GT500 Mustang

January 14, 2010 by Justin

Man I loved this shot of the 2010 Shelby GT500 Mustang, it looks so mean I had to post it on my Mustang blog. I just love the cobra emblem, just the right size for the grille. And I love the white stripes down the metallic blue paint job. I like my Mustangs having a clean cut look, this Shelby is absolutely sick!

2010 Camaro in Rearview Mirror of a Mustang

January 14, 2010 by Justin

Found this rearview mirror picture while doing a search on Google, this is a great picture, Camaro is in the rear where it should be. I still have to say the 2010 Camaro looks pretty bad ass, especially with the fog lights on. Save this one and keep in your Mustang archives!

Transformers “Barricade” Saleen Mustang Police Car

January 13, 2010 by Justin

Remember the Saleen Mustang police car from Transformers, nicknamed Barricade? The Mustang didn’t get much publicity, definitely not as much publicity as the 2010 Camaro. To be honest with you I thought the Saleen Mustang looked sweeter in the movie. The “to punish and enslave” slogan on the Saleen Mustang made my day, that was just plain sweat. I bet that cracked a lot of people up in the theater.

So I wonder what happen to the Saleen Mustang used in the movie. Well, I did a little of my own research, come to find out there were only three Mustangs made for Transformers. I found a post on Auto Blog stating that one 2005 Saleen Mustang ended up only selling for $36k. Yeah only $36, that’s a far cry from the $100,000 – $300,000 declared estimated value. Whoever bought the movie prop made out with one hell of a deal. The Mustang started out as an auction for only $1k, then eventually made it’s way up to $30k. The $6k was a buyer’s premium, the auction can still be found here.

I have to say I’m really jealous, if I would of known this Mustang was up for sale I would of definitely put in a bid. This is definitely a big piece of Mustang history. Oh well, I just hope the new owner keeps Barricade in good shape. Last thing I want to see is the car at the bottom of the sea with the rest of the Decepticons.

I posted some good aftermath video footage and pictures of the Saleen Mustang. I almost forgot to mention, the Mustang only had 4,550 miles on the odometer. I’m super jealous!
