This upcoming October there will be a 2000 SVT Cobra R on sale at the Barrett-Jackson car show. The Ford Motor Company are the owners and are the one’s who are putting it up on the auction block. The Mustang has a build number #002, it’s the second Cobra R to be built by Ford, making it very valuable. It’s not said how many miles are on the car, but Ford Racing used it for several months as a pace car for various events. If you’re not familiar with the 2000 SVT Cobra R, it’s a muscle car that features a 5.4 liter 32 valve engine with 385 horsepower. It’s a beast of a car. Other Mustangs going up on sale at Barrett-Jackson include a 2007 Ford Shelby GT500 Prudhomme edition concept and Lot #3000 a 2009 Iacocca 45th anniversary #005.

New 300hp V6 Engine for Mustang

The new 2011 Ford Mustang base model is to get an upgrade, it will not be referred to as a 6 banger anymore. Although it will still have a V6 under the hood, enthusiasts will not be dissing it no more. The new V6 that will be underneath the hood will be putting out 300+ horsepower. Good news for V8 fans also, it’s said the new V8 will be pumping out around 400hp to hang with the new Camaro. All is exciting and I can’t wait for the future!

2010 Ford Mustang Saleen

October 18, 2009 by Justin

2010-saleen-mustangThe new Saleen Mustang has a new look and a new name. The new manufacturer has changed its name from Saleen Inc. to Saleen Performance. The sweet new Saleen will be shown at this years SEMA show, the 2010 S281 will still have the same name, but it will be sporting a redesigned car. I attached a rear picture of the Saleen Mustang to give you sneak peak of what it’s to look like. From the photo you’ll notice a lengthened spoiler, restyled diffuser and squared-off exhaust tips. I really like’em, it definitely adds to the bulkiness a muscle car should be showing. I expect this to be one sweet car when it comes out!

NASCAR Mustang Stock Car

New Ford Mustang Racing Car
The new Ford Mustang stock car was reveiled by Ford Racing last week. It holds the number 16 and will be will be driven in the NASCAR Nationwide series next year by Colin Braun. This Mustang has just replaced the Fusion, which has been driven the past few years. It’s pretty much the same car, other than the new stickers to resemble the new 2010 Ford Mustang. Kind of stupid I know, but that’s stock car racing!
