So which one outperforms the other? The Camaro definitely outperforms the Mustang in the 1/4 mile, the Camaro has 304 horsepower compared to the Mustangs 210 horsepower. The funny thing is the Mustang engine is a lot bigger, sporting a 4.0 liter motor and the Camaro only a 3.6 liter engine. This proves the theory “bigger is always better” totally wrong. The Camaro also gets 29 hwy/17 city where the Mustang gets 24 hwy/16 city. So it’s not question why the Camaro outsells the Mustang. Ford is going to have to step up their game next year.
More Incentives to Increase Mustang Sales

If you haven’t been updated with the recent Mustang sales report, Ford hasn’t been doing so well. To increase sales and match the Mustang opponent the Camaro, Ford will be offering incentives and deals for the 2010 Ford Mustang. The best deal going now is Ford is offering 0% APR financing for 36 months ( 2.9% for 48, 3.9% for 60 & 5.9% for 72 months) and $1,000 cash back for the Mustang V-6 and GT excluding the Shelby GT500.
2011 Ford Mustang Mach1

I found this picture browsing the internet for 2011 Ford Mustang photos, makes me wonder if there could be a Ford Mustang Mach1 in the works. It sure does look bad ass, it kind of reminds me of the Mustang GTR concept. I just love the scoops on the side, the front grille, and the monster shaker hood. The colors really go well on the car also, I wonder if this is just a photoshopped Mustang. I hope it isn’t, it would be great to see another Mach1. There hasn’t been a Mustang Mach1 in the works since 2004. I bet a lot of Mustang fans would buy this car if Ford came out with it, it truly is a stunning looking muscle car.
2011 Ford Mustang GT with 430HP

Everyone knows that Ford is working on a new engine for the 2011 Ford Mustang GT. But, I’m wondering how much horsepower will this baby be pumping out. Will it have 430hp to match the Camaro SS, or will it just be in the high 300hp range. This new engine is currently known under the code name Coyote. Other topic that is up in the air is an upgrade in tires, the 2011 Ford Mustang GT might be equipped with Pirelli P Zero Corsa tires.
What makes a Ford Mustang so Cool?

So the question remains, what makes a Ford Mustang so cool and the favorite among Americans? Is it just the name? Or is it the style and sound that comes from the muscle car. To me, I love the sound, there’s nothing on earth that sounds like a 4.6L over-head cam engine by Ford. Some people say it has too much drone, but I love the drone and that what makes it so unique. Other muscle cars can sound very raspy and crappy, not the Ford Mustang, they sound awesome. Pick up a set of Kooks headers, high flow catalytic converters and a flowmaster catback exhaust system and you’re all set. That’s one mean ass sounding muscle car, trust me!
619,000 Miles on a 1971 Ford Mustang

If you take car of your Mustang and do the usual car maintenance, your car can last up to 600k miles just like this 1971 Mustang. Over the years there were a few engine rebuilds along with a changing of the rear-axle ratio, but no actual car restoration. The proud owner of this old Mustang is Dick Fuchs from TheFordStory.com. It’s obvious that a car can outlive a human being if taken care of properly, kind of scary isn’t it. I just hope I can hand down my Mustang to my son when I die.

Latifah’s big dream came true when Ford decided to partner up with her to feature the Mustang prominently in her video. Movies with Ford Mustangs

From time to time I like posting about my recent Mustang sitings, even if they’re in movies. The latest one I saw was a sweet 2003 Saleen S281E in 2 Fast 2 Furious. Well, it was sweet until it was smashed to pieces by a big Semi on the highway in California. It was great to see more American muscle cars in the second installment of Fast and Furious.
Mustangs on Forza Motorsport 3

So who’s ready to play Forza Motorsport 3? The racing game is just around the corner and you know there’s going to be some sweet Mustangs in it. The video game comes out on the 27th of this month, if you didn’t know the release date. This time around AI is more advanced and there’s over 100 tracks to race on, making things a lot more interesting. I hope there’s a ton of mods for the Mustang I pick, I’d like to do a twin-turbo modification to a 2009 Ford Mustang GT500. That would be pumping out some serious horsepower. Coming from TeamXbox.com, they said that the handling will be a lot easier, that’s a big plus. I can’t stand having a sloppy racing game. Hope to see you on Xbox Live!
