What makes My Mustang Blog so Cool?

October 31, 2009 by Justin

So what makes my Mustang Blog so cool? I’d have to say all the features I have implemented on it. There’s not too many blogs on the internet that allows you to buy parts right off of a blog. That’s a really neat feature I think! I plan on adding even more parts in the future, just been so busy at work lately, haven’t got around to it yet. I also need to update the news section more frequently, I had a big project that I just finished, so I will be on the site more often now, updating it every day almost.

Mustang Giugiaro Concept by Italdesign

By now every Mustang enthusiast has heard of the Giugiaro Mustang concept by Fabrizio Giugiaro from Italdesign. Even though that may be true, I thought it would be cool to blog about it anyways. I like giving my own insights on concepts from current day to the past.

So what are my own pros and cons about the pony car. Well let me take a long hard look at the unique muscle car. I have to say I really enjoy the front of the car, the lights are very appealing to me. And the simple chrome Mustang logo with a clean custom grille makes the car look very appealing to me. After reading all my posts, you might realize that I like a clean cut car, least thing I like most is a gaudy sports car.

The rims on the other hand have to go, I would of added a nice three inch lip in the back like something from Complete Custom Wheels. And plain old satin colored wheels with orange pint in them aren’t too appealing to me, I would of either went with chrome or high polished aluminum. The hood could of been more bulgy, it doesn’t have enough muscle to it, I want it to scream muscle car!

Other than that, it’s a very smooth looking Mustang concept. This was suppose to be an influence of the 2010 Ford Mustang, but to be honest with you, I don’t seen any resemblance. Ford did not use any of the Giugiaro’s design on the new Mustang.

Decline of Ford Mustangs out on Woodward

It truly is a said thing to hear I know, but because of the recession, we all have noticed a big decline of Ford Mustangs and muscle cars out on Woodward last summer. So will this hobby survive? I sure hope so, it has such a big following I don’t think it will ever die out. There are so many Mustang fans out there, they’re all over the world. I once talked to a guy from Sweden that owns a 2007 Ford Mustang GT. He’s been living in the United States for three years and when his visa is up, he plans on shipping his Mustang back to Sweden. Is that the most die hard Mustang fan you ever heard of or what? Well, I just hope we all can survive these harsh times and Woodward pickups next summer.

Galpin Auto Sports Modded out Mustang

This has to be the coolest rendering I have ever seen of a 2010 Ford Mustang GT. But, this is no ordinary Mustang GT as you might have noticed, it sports a custom hood, front end, and forged wheels. Under the hood is a high performance supercharger that boosts the horsepower all the way to 550hp. If you want a mean looking Mustang for next summer, look no further than Galpin Auto Sport’s highly modified 2010 Ford Mustang GT. I really don’t have a favorite part of the car, because the whole car is awesome!

Paul’s High Performance Mustang

In the upcoming week at the SEMA show in Vegas you will be seeing all types of suped up Ford Mustangs. One that might stand out from the others is Pauls’ High Performance Mustang GT. You won’t mistake this as a plain old Mustang GT from Ford, no this muscle car has been built for the track. It sports a functioning hood, bulky rear wing, aggressive wheels, sporty tires, and high performance exhaust system. This Mustang GT just screams record breaker!

Ford Mustang Pumpkin

To lighten the mood, I’m going to post a few pictures of my Ford Mustang pumpkin. It wasn’t as hard as it looks, especially with the right utensils. I think it looks pretty cool, got to show the ghosts and goblins that I’m a big Mustang fan! I made a few more, I’ll have to post them later. I made a sponge bob square pants, Frankenstein, and a Jolly Roger pumpkin also.

Have two more pumpkins left to design. I would like to maybe do a custom wheels or the Ford logo, still not sure though. Maybe the whole front end of a Ford Mustang, that would probably be kind of hard though. Any ideas?

Here’s a picture of the Mustang logo at night time. If there’s any Mustang fans trick or treating, I’m sure they’ll like it.

Mustang Parts on Ebay

A few people talk down about Ebay for Mustang parts, but you know what I’ve never seen cheaper prices anywhere. Plus you never know what you’re going to find used. Sometimes you’ll see brand new set of HRE rims or iForged rims for half the price. It truly is a great place to check for deals. Other than that, craigs list is great too!

Put the Mustang away in Storage

It’s that time again Mustang fans, time to put your car away in storage. It’s kind of depressing I know, but there are other things to uplift you this winter. Like for instance Forza 3 is about to be released for the Xbox 360. This is something to take your mind of those long winter months. They have improved the handling and graphics on these video games so much, it will actually feel like you’re driving your own Ford Mustang. Some other hobbies I’m picking up is a fish tank and working out. Working out is a must, because all of us gain a lot of weight in the winter. Anyways, I hope this winter goes by quick!

Diecast and RC Mustang Cars

Man ever time I go out to hobby stores or toy stores, I’ve noticed there sure are a lot of diecast Mustang cars on the shelves. Be honest with you, it’s a cool site to see!

It definitely could get the kids in a new hobby, which is good because it will keep them out of trouble.

Also, I actually saw a rc package of a new Ford Mustang and Chevy Camaro, what was unique about the rc package was the laser tag features built into the cars. I almost bought them, but I was kind of short on money. I know I would of loved this when I was a kid. Sounds like fun trying to laser tag the other rc car, be pretty challenging too. You probably have to shoot the laser at the right time before the other car makes a sharp turn or steps on the gas.

I actually found a picture of the rc cars, here it is. Pretty neat huh? They’re all tricked out looking too!

2010 BOSS Shinoda Ford Mustang

October 26, 2009 by Justin

Man, check this monster out. The all new 2010 Boss Shinoda Mustang, designed by Larry Shinoda, this Mustang packs a hefty 800 horsepower to the rear wheels. This is just one of the models that the Shinoda Team is offering, they have many models to choose from. This grabber blue model is actually the first Boss Mustang they have ever produced, it carries the #001 stamped right on the firewall. The big power booster is a Paxton NOVI 2200 supercharger.

Other enhancements include famed Boss graphics with side stripes and a massive hood scoop to suck up little kittens.

Keeping all 800 horses on the road will be no small task that is why a Shinoda Level II plus suspension (springs, shocks, pan hard bars and lower control arms) has been added along with performance sway bars and a set of 20-inch chrome bullitt wheels.

If you’re interested in buying this custom Mustang, you can go on Ebay and buy it for $69,400. Not too bad of a deal for all the super modifications that come with the car. Hmmm, I wonder if this Boss Shinoda Mustang can beat a Corvette ZR1.
