$30k Price Tag on the 2011 Ford Mustang GT

January 18, 2010 by Justin

The pricing for the 2011 Ford Mustang GT has just been released. The base model will get a price tag of $30,495, while the premium model will sell for $33,695. That’s a few grand increase from last years model, it must be because of the horsepower increase with the new 5.0L engine. I guess it only makes sense, I just wish they would of kept the same prices as last year. So what you Mustang guys and gals think? Do you think Mustang fans will be racing to the nearest dealership to get the first dibs on the muscle car? Or do you think it will have a slow start? Personally I’m in the middle, I think a few people will be rushing out to get their hands on them. But not a whole lot since we’re still in a recession. I just can’t wait to see one out on the road, I want to hear the growl!

Roush 427R Mustang makes AutoTrader Classics Calendar

January 17, 2010 by Justin

Great news for ROUSH Performance, their custom Mustang the ROUSH 427R made this year’s Auto Trader Classics calendar. It’s starring as Miss February with a nice red shiny paint job. I wish I had a bigger picture of what the picture looks like, but at least you get an idea. The Roush 427R Mustang is sitting right near a puddle that shows the reflection of the 427R. Mustang pictures like this are so cool, I congratulate Roush for their Mustang making the issue. This would be a great calendar to get for 2010!

Applications for Roush Club

January 17, 2010 by Justin

You might remember a post I made back in December about voting for the official Roush club name. Well sorry to say the name still hasn’t been revealed yet, but what has come to our attention is the application for being accepted into the club. Roush is officially accepting applications for the Roush Mustang club. To view the application log on to Roush’s performance site from Google. Be aware that the application is designed for new members or existing ROEA members. Eventually an online application will be available, but for now you must fax, mail, or email back the forms.

News on Jack Roush Mustang God

January 17, 2010 by Justin

The latest news on Jack Roush is he will be inducted into NMPA hall of fame. Jack Roush will be one of four honorees this Saturday night in Concord, North Carolina. I think Jack Roush’s induction is well overdue, he’s not only impacted NASCAR, he’s also become a legend all over the world for Mustang owners. Other honorees at the NMPA event are Roger Penske, Rusty Wallace and Robert Yates. I hope Jack Roush and the other inductees are honored by this action!

Custom Center Caps for your Mustang Wheels

January 17, 2010 by Justin

Some Mustang enthusiasts don’t realize that little modifications such as center caps and tire stems really bring out the looks of your Mustang. Yeah they are pretty small compared to the overall view of your Mustang, but it’s not till you’re at a car show you start noticing every little detail on a custom car. So adding a nice set of custom center caps should definitely be on your list of modifications this year!

GT4 Mustang Wheels

January 16, 2010 by Justin

A new wheel design has made an appearance to the Mustang market, it’s quite cool looking I must say. The wheel kind of resembles a spider web in a way. The great thing about these wheels is the brake clearance inside of the barrel. You’re able to fit some big brake calipers under there from lets say Brembo or Baer. Since the spokes are so thin you’re definitely going to save some weight too! These wheels are available in a deep dish design also. Choose from either chrome, polished or a powder coated color. This will make a nice addition to your late model Mustnag, trust me!

Ford Mustang LCD Display

January 16, 2010 by Justin

It’s pretty weird seeing a high tech LCD screen on the new Mustang. Muscle cars were only known for their looks on the outside and the power from the engine. Never for a luxurious interior, I have to say though it’s kind of cool. I’m starting to finally adjust to it, my Dad’s 2010 Mustang has an LCD screen and I’ve been playing with it lately. The navigation might seem a little technical at first, but eventually you get used to it. So in the long run is it worth it? Well yes it is! Nowadays these LCD screens have satelite radio, thermometer, compass, and a GPS system if you get lost. It’s a really great tool to have if you go on any long trips to Mustang shows or drag strips. Just make sure you’re careful around them, because my Mom ended up accidentally cracking the screen on my Dad’s display. The cost to replace the screen was not cheap! God only knows how she did it.

The Shelby Garage

January 16, 2010 by Justin

Ahhh the Shelby garage, what a site to see. This is the manufacturing floor of Shelby American, since it opened up in 1998 Shelby has been building anniversary 427 S/C Cobras, Series 1s, and even some cool prototype stuff shown in the picture. Man I wish I own one of these cars, I guess I can dream about it.
