2010 Steeda Sport Edition Ford Mustang

December 1, 2009 by Justin

Steeda introduced the 2010 Seeda Sport edition Mustang not too long ago. Steeda has used a 2010 Ford Mustang GT as their base, modifications include a few cosmetic enhancements and some performance parts. As you might notice from the picture, Steeda has painted the hood and added sidewinder stripes for more of a sport appeal. Performance enhancements include underdrive performance pulleys, air cleaner, sport springs, and billet lower control arms. The rims you see in the picture are 20-inch Spyder wheels, wrapped with Nitto NT05 tires. The Mustang isn’t a super car, but for a mild muscle car it’s not bad.

Twin-Turbo Viper Engine SN95 Mustang

December 1, 2009 by Justin

What do you think of this suped up SN95 Mustang? Under the hood is a twin-turbo powered V-10 viper engine. The owner made extensive modifications to the car including pushing pack the firewall 10 inches for the engine. Other mods include a custom k-member, custom trans mounts and custom 10-point cage. I can’t imagine what this suped up Mustang can do in the 1/4 mile, what a beast!

Ford Mustang with Gold Metallic Design

November 30, 2009 by Justin

sema_must8
Not ever day do you get to see a custom Ford Mustang such as this. This unique 2010 Ford Mustang sports metallic gold cues all over the car. The Mustang was inspired by premier fashion designers such as Prada, Stella McCartney and Balenciaga. The paint job on the car is a custom carbon black metallic color. The super styled Mustang is propped up by 20-inch gold wheels with gold-tinted headlights and fog lamps. In the interior of the car, gold accents continue throughout the car, featuring gold leather seats and door trim inserts. Also a cool steering wheel cover and shifter boot. Sounds gaudy and all, but I have to say the picture of the outside of the Mustang looks quite nice. Can’t imagine the interior looking any good though, I’m not a big gold color fan.

EcoBoost V8 in the Future Shelby GT500 Mustang

November 30, 2009 by Justin

The Detroit Bureau has reported that Ford is working on a EcoBoost V8 for the future Shelby GT500 Mustang. It’s based off of the 5.0 liter “Coyote” V8 which is set to come out next year. If the rumors are true, the special V8 will be capable of producing over 500 horsepower at an efficient gas mileage rating. This is something all Mustang fans will be happy about, especially in these hard economic times. I can’t even afford having the insurance on my Mustang during the winter months, I shouldn’t be driving the Mustang in the snow anyways. It’s great to see Ford hard at work to improve our Mustang lifestyles. I hope we will get to see the release of this EcoBoost V8 in the next 2-3 years.

Ford Shelby GT500 in Movie I Am Legend

November 30, 2009 by Justin

Just saw the movie I am Legend the other night, I thought it was pretty good, Will Smith played a decent drama role. What I found spectacular was that the director Francis Lawrence used the actual sound from a Ford Shelby Mustang GT500. You could actually hear the Eaton supercharger scream in a raw scene from the movie, the exhaust sounded great too. Will Smith shows us what this bad ass Mustang can do, he does some sweet fish tails and donuts in the movie. The one part really wasn’t a donut, he kind of just did a 360 spinout because he lost control, I thought it looked awesome. It’s too bad the Mustang wasn’t shown more throughout the movie, there was just one scene. But, I guess us Mustang fans should just be thankful for that. Beggars can’t be choosers right? If you haven’t seen the movie yet, I suggest picking it up immediately. IMDB gave it a 7 out of 10 on their movie site. It truly is a spectacular movie, got to love the Bob Marley music also.

Mustang Glass Roof

November 30, 2009 by Justin

So what do you Mustang enthusiasts think of the new glass roof feature on the Ford Mustang. It’s almost as good as having T-tops like on a Trans-Am or Camaro, be honest with you it could be better. I still haven’t been in a Mustang yet with a glass roof yet so I have no clue. From checking out the photos I have posted, it sure looks good though. The company that kicked this in gear was Saleen, they were the first to add this feature to a Mustang in one of their S281 packages. It’s got to be kind of rough on those real sunny days.

Knight Rider Shelby GT500KR Mustang

November 30, 2009 by Justin

If you’re not familiar with the show Knight Rider, it starred David Hasselhoff as a crimefighter with a super car called KITT. Back then the Knight Rider car was a 1982 Trans Am, not an appealing muscle car nowadays, but for back in the 80s it was a hot looking car. Nowadays KITT has received a makeover, it’s actually a Shelby GT500KR Mustang. KITT is now packing 540 horsepower under the hood and a Val Kilmer voice for a more sex appeal. The coolest thing is how the muscle car is totally remote control. If you checked out the video over on Jay Leno’s Garage site you know what I’m talking about. Imagine having a Mustang like that? That would be so cool, you could run from the cops without being caught. Though the new Knight Rider show wasn’t a big hit, at least we got to see a sweet Mustang in it.

2011 Ford Mustang with 305 Horsepower

November 30, 2009 by Justin

Man, it’s great to hear that Ford is upping the horsepower on the 2011 Ford Mustang V6. The new V6 is an all-aluminum dual-overhead cam DOHC engine that will be producing 305 horsepower. If you’re a tight wad and worried about gas prices, no need to worry because the 2011 V6 Mustang gets 30mpg on the highway, not bad huh? Along with good mileage and boost in horsepower, Ford offers choice between a six-speed manual and an automatic transmission. A few more improvements that have been made are new Electric Power Assist Steering system which eliminates the drag of an engine-operated hydraulic power steering pump. New on the outside of the Mustang is a new front fascia for aerodynamics, tire spats on rear wheels, modified underbody shields and a taller air dam and added rear decklid seal. This is all pretty surprising for a mellow 3.7-liter V-6 engine Mustang, the future is looking good!
