Steeda now has two facilities, one in Pompano Beach and one in Valdosta, Georgia. For more information check out the Mustang video down below.
Hood Struts for 2010 Ford Mustang

Ford really hasn’t changed the way their hood strut has been constructed in the last few years. Ford’s shortcomings on the Mustang hood prop has made the way for Mustang aftermarket companies to produce a more reliable and safer means to hold up your Mustang hood. Thus Classic Design Concepts fabricated this new hood strut kit for the latest 2010 Ford Mustang. The CDC hood strut kit eliminates the need for the archaic hood prop rod making it easier to service and modify your Mustang. Each hood strut is made from a high steel grade and powder coated for a nice clean look. You have a color choice between silver and black powder coat. Each hood strut costs $99, to purchase your own CDC strut visit their website.

2011 Ford Mustang GT 5.0L Engine Bay

I was browsing through Twitter the other night and what appeared for my eyes was shots from the 2011 Ford Mustang GT engine bay. This is truly a Christmas gift to remember, as you can see in both pictures the Mustang is sporting the brand new 5.0L engine. This new engine is making 412 horsepower and 390 foot pounds of torque. I have to say Ford did a magnificent job cleaning up the engine bay, it almost looks as if you could have dinner right on it. It seems like the engine bays of cars are looking cleaner and cleaner as we get into the future, I just love it. No one likes a messy engine bay, everyone wants to show off their engine to people at car shows, well now all the 2011 Ford Mustang GT owners can. Enjoy the pictures of the 2011 Mustang and merry Christmas to all!

I did a little Google searching today, came across this sweet concept of a green Boss Mustang. Not sure how it was developed, whether it was constructed by a Computer program or even drawn, but it sure looks sweet. I just love the chrome ten spoke wheels, custom hood scoops, the grille, and the side louver windows. I wish I had more pictures of the Boss Mustang concept, but this is the only won I found.

What Mustang Forums do you Visit?

With there being so many Mustang forums to visit these days, which ones have you narrowed down to visit? One in particular I like to visit is SVT Performance, the Mustang forum has great members on it and there’s a ton of topics to talk about. Another great forum is All Ford Mustangs, I actually got to talk to the owner a few years ago. He tried to bring me on as a moderator of the forum but I was so busy that I didn’t have time, I wish I hadn’t turned him down, it has become one of the largest Mustang communities on the internet. Then there’s Stang Net forums, they are filled with a ton of tech information on Mustang aftermarket parts. If you have any tech questions, I suggest checking these Mustang forums out first, there’s a lot of Mustang owners on there that can help you out. To make things easier, I posted down below a quick ranking of the forum sites.

CGS Flatback 2010 Mustang

CGS Motorsports has customized their own 2010 Ford Mustang naming it the FlatBack Mustang. You kind of almost end up calling it FlatBlack Mustang because of the paint color. CGS made this car for the 2009 SEMA show, the FlatBack Mustang features a custom matte grey metallic paint by BASF, gloss black graphics, 22-inch one-off Colorado custom wheels with Pirelli Tires, Recaro seats, KW coil over suspension, Roush body kit, Baer brakes and a twin-screw Whipple supercharger. To top things off I posted a concept illustration of what the custom Mustang looks like, it sure looks sick!

Rare Video footage of Mustang Movie Bullitt

Doing a little browsing on YouTube and I came across this rare behind the scenes footage of the movie Bullitt. This was one of the most influential Mustang movies of all time. The chase scene with the 968 Dodge Charger R/T 440 Magnum and the 1968 Ford Mustang GT390 was magnificent, the phrase “they don’t make them like they used to” comes to mind every time I see the chase scene. Nowadays Hollywood directors are dubbing in sound and special effects to make the car scenes more interesting. I personally like car scenes when they are all natural, I just hate too much computer generated stuff.
