2003 SVT Cobra vs. 2009 Shelby GT500

January 9, 2010 by Justin

In this small Mustang video from YouTube, a 2003 SVT Mustang Cobra takes on a 2009 Shelby GT500 Mustang Cobra. The 2003 Cobra is packing 450 rear wheel horsepower and 470 rear wheel torque. While the 2009 Cobra is packing 511 rear wheel horsepower and 514 rear wheel torque. The Shelby GT500 beats the SVT Cobra in both races, however the race was unfair since the Shelby had 64 more horsepower. I think if both Cobras had a similar range in power the SVT Cobra would come up top. It’s not because I like the 2003 Cobra, although believe me I do, it’s because the 2003 SVT Cobra is a lot lighter.

2010 Ford Mustang Smoking the Tires

January 9, 2010 by Justin

What’s better than a Ford Mustang smoking the tires, well I guess sex, but other than that nothing else. The sight of this picture just makings me want to go for drive in my SVT Cobra. It’s just too bad I will be waiting another four months for good weather. God I can’t stand snow and cold weather, just doesn’t do many any good. Before when I was younger I used to ice fish and ice skate, but not much anymore. I guess you kind of grow out of those things. Nowadays it’s just muscle cars and women. I guess I can hold off till’ the spring time!

Ford Dealership Owner Bob Tasca has Died

January 9, 2010 by Justin

Sad news for Mustang owners in Rhode Island, Bob Tasca Sr. has just died at the age of 83. Mr. Tasca was a patriarch for the Ford Motor Company and Mustang enthusiasts all over the state. His grandson Bob Tasca III said “he loved life and he fought as hard as he could,” but he couldn’t pull out of it. Mr. Tasca suffered from a number of health-related issues in recent years. He will be missed, I just hope he rests in peace back in Ford heaven.

Mustang Club of America Custom Ford Mustang

January 8, 2010 by Justin

Mustang Club of America’s own custom Ford Mustang made a debut at the past LA Auto Show. I wish I could of found pictures of the Mustang, but since they are a members only club I have no access to their forums. Mustang Club of America is a non-profit organization and the largest officially licensed Mustang owners club in the world. I heard it was a very sharp looking custom Mustang.

Selling My 2004 Mustang Cobra

January 8, 2010 by Justin

I’ve been thinking about selling my 2004 Mustang Cobra. It’s really a not good time to sell a collector car though. You guys might not think this 2004 Cobra is a collector car, but it is. My SVT Mustang Cobra only has 1k miles on odometer and the baby is completely stock. So you can imagine how much sentimental value this Mustang could be for someone. Nicknamed the “Terminator,” it’s one of the best bangs for your buck. Just a nice catback exhaust, a new pulley, and a tune and you’re over 500 horsepower. The Mustang is truly a unique muscle car beast. The car has a lot of sentimental value to me so I’m not sure if I’m going to put it up for sale. Maybe in a few years or so if the economy gets better. It would really be the best thing to do because I don’t think I’d get the money I really want for it.

1967 Mustang GT500 from Gone in 60 Seconds

January 7, 2010 by Justin

This is one of the eleven 1967 Mustang GT500s used in the movie Gone in 60 Seconds. Let me save you from this annoying chick, skip to 2:30 on the Mustang video. I almost didn’t post this video because the woman is so annoying. This is your tipical stupid chick that would live in Hollywood. “Like, oh my God, like.” You know what I’m talking about. Well anyways, this Mustang is actually owned by producer Jerry Bruckheimer of the film Gone in 60 Seconds. She sure is a beaut, the car I mean, lol. Definitely the car!

State Police Fox Body Mustang

January 7, 2010 by Justin

In this picture down below is one clean looking State Police Fox Body Mustang, I’m not sure of the mods on the car, but I do know it has a 5.0L engine. This is something you don’t see everyday. It would be really cool to see the cops have one of these Mustangs in my area. This baby sure is polished up, probably the cleanest looking police car I have ever seen!

Car Thieves Targeting SVT Mustang Cobras

January 7, 2010 by Justin

Car thieves have been stealing 2003-04 SVT Mustang Cobras all over Pampano beach. Within the last month four Mustang Cobras have been stolen right out of owners driveways. They made away with the Cobras, but they did not get away clean as one thief were captured by a surveillance video camera. This lo-life is driving a two-door white Ford Explorer, you can kind of see it in the background. If you know who this male is please contact Broward’s Sheriff’s office.
