iTunes Tagging for the 2011 Ford Mustang
January 6, 2010 by Justin
Ford is adding iTunes tagging with their new HD radio option for their Ford Mustang. HD radio receivers pull in digital radio signals and play them at an incredibly improved sound. For instance FM stations, they will have near-CD quality. So when you’re blasting AC/DC’s song Thunderstruck, you will hear clearer screaming. I think the new Mustang owners are very happy to have this improvement in their radio, I know I would. At times the radio in my 2004 Mustang Cobra sounds really crappy. HD radio is kind of old news though, the new talk of the town is tagging, when you hear a great song you can tag it. Tagging will provide Ford customers with the ability to capture a song they hear on the HD Radio receiver for later purchase. With a simple push of the “TAG” button on the radio display, the song information will be stored in the radio’s memory. I know there’s been many times when I’ve heard I song and wish I could of remembered it, this solved that issue! Thanks Ford!
