1993 SVT Cobra R Mustang

There sure are a lot neat special edition Ford Mustangs out there, one you should try to keep in mind is the first Cobra Mustang ever produced. Which indeed is the 1993 Cobra R Mustang, only 107 of these “R” Mustangs were ever built, making this super stang very rare. This unique Mustang was made strictly for racing, hence the “R” name, really nothing about the Mustang was weak. To start it off, this Mustang produced 235 horsepower and 285 foot pounds of torque, for back in 1993 this was pretty impressive. To achieve this horsepower rating Ford implemented big-port GT40 heads, tuned-runner intake manifold, and a revised cam. Other improvements on the Cobra R model included larger front brakes, competition-caliber cooling system and suspension tuning, appropriately wider wheels and tires, and added structural reinforcements. This Mustang would truly make any car collector happy to have this muscle car in their garage.
